ADMISSION
The Management reserves to itself the right to admission.
1) The School Year begins in April. There are two terms, The First from April to September and the second from October to March.
FEE PAYMENT
1) Fees are payable for twelve calendar months of the year. Fees may be increased at the discretion of the School Management committee based on the consumer price index plus 5% on previous fee.
2) Defaulters are liable to be fined anywhere, arrears are involved. The student could be suspended till all dues are paid. If fees are not paid on time the student's name will be struck off the rolls, unless a reasonable explanation is given. If re-admission is granted, the re-admission fee of ₹ 5,000/- (Five thousand only) must be paid in addition to the dues and fine for late payment.
3) Receipt must be demanded whenever money is paid.
4) All the dues must be cleared by February for the academic year.
5) ONCE ADMISSION IS GRANTED THERE WILL BE NO REFUND ON ANY PAYMENT FOR ANY REASON.
ATTENDANCE
1) Students should have 75% of attendance, so as to be eligible for promotion to appear for the Board examinations.
2) Application for leave must be made before-hand and should be duly sanctioned by the Principal.
3) When the absence is due to unforeseen causes, an application should be submitted on the first day of the pupil's return to school.
4) In case of sickness exceeding three days, a Medical Certificate should be produced.
5) Once the student enters the school, they must not leave the school premises during school hours.
6) In case of any unavoidable circumstances, only parents are allowed to accompany students and sending the ward with other guardians will not be encouraged by the school. Prior permission should be taken from the Principal to take the child during school hours.
7) Attendance on the last working day and the first working day of school after vacation is compulsory.
8) Students will not be permitted to avail long leave of absence during school days. If a child is ill, the class teacher should be informed of the cause of absence. If a child needs to avail leave due to any exigency, a leave application should be submitted to the Principal, clearly stating the reason for the leave of absence.
9) A fine of ₹ 500/- per day will be levied for students missing school immediately prior to or after a long holiday / vacation.
10) Fine of ₹ 100/- will be collected from students / parents if the School fee is paid after 15th of every month.
11) Students who utilize the School transportation, have to pay 11 months' transport charges even if they do not use the services.
WITHDRAWALS
1) Students can be withdrawn only at the end of the Academic Year.
2) If the students are withdrawn at the beginning or in the middle of the academic year, the full year's fee has to be paid and only then, a T.C. will be issued.
A clear one month's notice has to be given to the school if the student is to be withdrawn in which case the fee of T.C. will be ₹100/-. However if the T.C. is required immediately, full fees for 2 months will be charged in lieu of notice as fee of the T.C. and the discontinuation of the course will be mentioned in the T.C.
CODE OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE
1)Students should be punctual and regular.
Students should be present in school by 8:30 a.m.
Late-comers will be strictly dealt with. The school gate will be closed by 9 a.m.
Students should be in their class rooms before the period begins.
2) Students must come in proper uniform on all working days. Uniform should be clean and well ironed. They must come on Saturday in their House dress.
3) Boys must maintain a short and neat hairstyle.
4) Girls having long hair must put on two braids using black hair ties for regular uniform and white hair ties for House dress.
5) Students should walk to the assembly, class-wise and should be on time.
6) Students should be careful of their personal possessions like pencil, pen, books, tiffin boxes etc. Avoid plastic boxes and plastic waterbottles.
7) Only the students of Secondary and Sr. Secondary are allowed to use wrist-watches.
8) All students are expected to converse only in English in the School premises.
9) Coming late and absence without permission or any other form of misbehavior will warrant severe punishment /expulsion.
10) Students are expected to keep the school premises clean. They should not destroy any plants and flowers or litter the place. They should not scribble on the benches/walls of the school. School property should be safe guarded.
11) Students will not be permitted to use any kind of electronic gadgets (i.e. pen drive / mobile phone / laptop etc.) inside the school premises. If a student is found using it, the devices will be taken and not be returned. In case, in an emergency, if the parent sends the mobile, it should be intimated prior and the same must be submitted at the reception or to the class teacher.
12) Students must bring the School Diary to the school every day and note down assignments and important instructions given by the teachers. Teachers will make use of the School Diary to communicate with parents.
13) Any student indulging in malpractice during examination will get a zero for the particular paper and will be debarred from the remaining papers of that particular sitting or be dismissed.
14) Implicit disobedience, rudeness and impoliteness in speech and conduct, whether in or out of school, are punishable with expulsion.
15) All instructions issued from time to time should be carefully followed and obeyed.
16) Students found consuming alcohol or smoking within or outside the campus will face strict disciplinary action or expulsion.
17) The Good Name of the institution should be preserved and maintained always, in the school as well as outside.
18) Students must take care of their belongings. The school is not responsible for the loss of books, money, clothes and other articles. The school takes all precautions to safeguard each child's property. It is not allowed for students to have money or valuable articles with them. Students must not wear any kind of jewellery.
19) No student is allowed to raise slogans in any form in the school premises or to indulge in any untoward incidents.
DRESS CODE
1) It is compulsory for students to wear the full school uniform while attending classes.
2) Regular uniform is to be worn on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. Green pants for boys and white checked skirts for girls along with white shirts, black shoes, white socks and belts, that is prescribed by the school according to their standard.
3) House uniform should be worn on Saturdays along with white socks and white canvas shoes. White plastic shoe or Velcro shoes are allowed. No other form of foot wear will be acceptable.
4) It is compulsory for all the students to wear the identity card daily to school.
TRANSPORT
1) Students can avail the transport facilities provided by the school for their convenience.
2) Students availing the bus facility should travel by the bus allocated to him/her. Change of buses will not be entertained except on genuine reasons with written permission from the school authorities.
3) Students misconduct on a bus will be sufficient reason to discontinue providing bus transportation to those students involved.
4) All students availing the transport have to pay the charges for eleven months.
A NOTE TO PARENTS
1) Parents are requested to co-operate with the school authorities to enforce regularity and discipline.
2) Parents may meet the Principal on any working day between 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. To meet at any other time for any genuine problem, it would be necessary to take a prior appointment.
3) Parents may meet the teachers at the following timings. -
Pre-School : any day from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
3rd to 12th : from 3:10 to 4:00 p.m.
4) Parents are not allowed to meet their children or to take them home without the permission of the Principal.
5) The fee for each month is payable by cash or D.D. on or before the 15th of each month. Fees may be remitted at the cash counter between 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on all working days. Please note that tuition fees is for twelve months which needs to be cleared by February.
6) Please check the Diary daily for homework, assignments and project works allotted, special notices and for circulars.
7) Please ensure that the child is regular in doing homework/assignments and devotes adequate time and attention to his/her studies at home.
8) Parents are requested to strictly attend parent-teacher meetings without fail to discuss their ward's progress. Report Cards must be signed and returned within three days.
9) If a student is absent for any of the tests/examinations for any reason whatsoever, he or she will not be given a re-test / re-exam.
